Clay, a house church plant started in Strongsville, Ohio recently by Pastors Mark Widener and Paul Cruz former elders at Harvest Christian Church

Paul Cruz: Paul has been attending Harvest since 1989 where he met his lovely wife Heather and has been married now for over 14 years. Paul and Heather have two beautiful children, Hannah (13) and Gabe (8). In December of 2006 Paul was ordained and now serves as an elder in the body. Paul is bi-vocational, working with his insurance agency, the Cruz Agency with Farmer’s Insurance. Paul hopes to be in full time ministry sometime in the future, and enjoys serving in a preaching and teaching capacity of God’s Word, is involved in and leads small group ministries as well as adult Bible study. Paul and Heather have a passion for missions and are currently working in collaboration with the youth minister to begin a work of outreach both locally and abroad.

Mark Widener: Mark Widener has been a member at Harvest since the day I was born! In 1996, while working at Outback Steakhouse, he met his best friend and wife Ginger. They were married in August of 1997 and now have 2 children Isabella and Caleb. In December of 2006 Mark was licensed and ordained by the ARC and currently serve the church as an Elder. Mark works full time as well as serving the Lord with many ministry opportunities including leading a Home Group, teaching Adult Bible Study, and preaching His Word. “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:14).
