Sunday Bulletin – February 4, 2018

BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT: Congratulations to Liz and Ted Carson on the birth of their new son, Braelen Jackobe, born February 2nd, at 8 lbs., and 20 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well.

SUNDAY EVENING HOME GROUP: The Sunday Evening Home Group will meet this evening, at Jim and Sandee Mazey’s home, 826 Salem Avenue, Elyria, starting at 5:00 p.m. (The time change is for this meeting only.) We will continue the study of the 7 Churches in Revelation. This evening we will be looking at the church of Thyatira (Rev. 2:18-29) using Tom Kelby’s notes.

OLMSTED HOME GROUP: The Olmsted Home Group will be meeting on Saturday, February 10th (at the Litt’s home, 27283 Schady Road, Olmsted Twp.) from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. We will continue in the study of the Book of Revelation by Tom Kelby.

COLOSSIANS STUDY: The study of the book of Colossians is held the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at Jim and Sandee Mazey’s home, 826 Salem Avenue, Elyria. All are invited to attend the next study on Monday, February 12th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

LENTEN OFFERING: Wednesday, February 14th will begin the Church Lenten Season that ends on, April 1st, Resurrection Sunday. We will again collect an offering for Samaritan’s Purse. If during this time, you are giving up something you usually purchase, consider giving that amount towards the offering. You can bring this each Sunday or you can bring the total offering on Resurrection Sunday. An Offering box will be located on the stage. “Is this not the fast which I choose, to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bonds of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free and break every yoke?”Isaiah 58:6.
